ABOUT ME
I have made the most of the opportunities afforded to me at University and in my working life. I am ready and able to work hard and am confident and effective at stepping into leadership roles when required.
In any project, I enthusiastically apply critical thinking and employ attention to detail while continually taking a broader, creative approach.
I always emphasise whakawhanaungatanga - the establishment and maintenance of effective, meaningful
and reciprocal relationships. As a compassionate and supportive team member, I balance an autonomous and self-responsible approach to my work. I maintain commitment to the priorities of the team, always working towards enhancing team function.
Cultural awareness is a priority for me in all aspects of my working and personal life. I value transparency and always work with integrity, maintaining a focus on excellence in any role.
THE START
I was drawn to Architecture due to a passion for design & art and an affinity for mathematics & physics.
I have always been excited by existing architecture and landscape interventions and the potential for further development across Aotearoa.
Coming into tertiary education, I had some experience with visual art, spatial design and Adobe software.
THE END
Following my studies, I am technically skilled with a responsive, adaptive approach to new experiences and technology. I have refined my passion for design, focusing as much on optimising function as form.
I have developed a passion for Aotearoa New Zealand's bi-cultural architectural identity. I am committed to honouring and protecting diversity and I am enthusiastic about consultation and collaboration.
